In Wales, Hywel Dda University Health Board (UHB) has created a dedicated team, the TriTech Institute, to provide wraparound support for clinicians looking to lead or be involved in clinical investigations, clinical trials and real-world evaluation to support adoption of innovations in treatment. 

This report, based on a roundtable discussion between the NHS Confederation, the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (APBI) and health charity leaders, explores practical ways to boost UK research and engender a culture of innovation.
