Professor Leighton Phillips is Director of Research, Innovation and University Partnerships at Hywel Dda University Health Board, overseeing a significant research portfolio – including supporting industry in the development of new technologies and devices. Prior to joining the Health Board, Leighton worked in the HEI sector and the senior civil service.
